I’m not dead yet…

Despite the dedicated hard work of the Bush administration, I have not yet met an unfortunate end at the hands of a foreign (or domestic) government. In short, I’m not dead yet.

And this is not a political entry.

You’ll notice a bit of housekeeping on the index page. First, I now have readily-accessible links to both Radio Free ArtMachine and the ArtMachine Store. In addition, I’ve added a couple of links to other sites that I find interesting. Including the official homepage of Lynne Russel – the greatest journalist to ever grace cable with her presence until they decided to abandon her in favor of “fresh faces.” I’m a fan, what can I say?

In addition, with CDNow announcing the end of their affiliate program, the “Widely Available” links on CD reviews will now take to to Barnes and Noble. And what good does it do you to end an affiliate program? Stoopid, stoopid rat creatures.

Yeah, and no new design features yet – but coming soon. As soon as I can get this durned computater to produce a decent piece of toast.

Stoopid, stoopid rat creatures.

Aaaaaand to finish taking care of business, I suppose I should actually go to the trouble of giving you the link to the radio station – since I actually want you to listen to it an’ stuff.

So, you can find Radio Free ArtMachine’s Live365 Page at http://www.live365.com/stations/299183. Share and enjoy.

Semi-Live and on the Air…

A few quick bits of business.

First of all, given that part of this site’s reason for existing is to review music, I’ve decided it’s about time it should have its own radio station.

Welcome to Radio Free ArtMachine – a station featuring a wide variety of audio diversions – rock, folk, rap, comedy (old and new) – you name it, we play it.

Second, there’s the little matter of the ArtMachine store. Yes, we have a store. Yes, it’s online. Yes, we sell a little bit of everything. Yes, it’s been there for a while. Longer, in fact, than this web site.

This is why I bring up the store. I am currently working on a new design for the ArtMachine logo. It will still be based on the “More Human” logo from the original ArtMachine site, but it’s going to be given an upgrade. So merchandise featuring the original design is only available for a limited time. To receive the original red “More Human” logo on your order, you’ll want to get it in before February 15. Why February 15? Because that’s the day when the new logo launches along with a new design.

For now, you’ll find that store at www.cafeshops.com/artmachine. All reasonably priced. What do you mean, sell-out?

As for your favorite sparsely-updated blog site – stay tuned. Future updates are coming.
