It’s never a good time. But in a world where Bush is President, the escalation in Iraq appears to be going ahead no matter what, and people like Howie Carr feel no shame in spewing racist, anti-intellectual bile and calling it “truth,” it’s probably the least appropriate time to have to say good-bye to somebody like Molly Ivins.
