Software Report
I have only managed to catch about ten minutes total (non-consecutive) of the historic first hour of “The O’Franken Report.” While the show sounds good (what little I’ve heard), I am now absolutely firm in my conviction that when it comes to streaming audio, RealPlayer sucks toad.

I found an essay on RealAlternative, tried it out, and liked it very much. It just, y’know, plays audio, without all that other hoohah.

Well, a couple of things:
1) http://www.super62.com/ is a good place to stream the audio from; that’s the station in Oregon. Sorry you missed Franken’s show.
2) Don’t be fooled by long stretches of silence: that’s local spots running. They’re not allowed to broadcast those.
3) RealPlayer sucks—but it might just be server load.
