The Return of the Magnificent
It’s been a long time since I did my Friday 10, and having reduced my iTunes library from 112 gb to a mere 17, I thought I’d take another crack at it.
So if you recognize the song and the artists, post it in the comments!
- “House Where Nobody Lives” – Tom Waits – There’s a house on my block that’s abandoned and cold…
- “Priest” – Stephen Lynch – I could dress him up like the Pope…
- “Early in the Morning,” by Peter, Paul, and Mary (guessed by Sarah) – This lonely body needs a helping hand…
- “Wednesday” – Tori Amos – I’m just sitting around being foolish when there is work to be done.
- “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” – Big Daddy [Pat Benatar cover] – You come on with a come on, you don’t fight fair
- “Rock the House” – Gorillaz – Come on trace the globe and shake ya pants…
- “Rock and Roll Lifestyle” – Cake – Well, your CD collection looks shiny and costly.
- “Nobody” – Johnny Cash – Who says, “Come on in and have a beer”?
- “Devil Inside” – Utada – Everybody wants me to be their angel…
- “Gumboots” – Paul Simon – I said, “Hey, is this my problem? Is this my fault?”

Must be the day for Graceland. #10 is Paul Simon, You Can Call Me Al.

Oo! So close! Right artist and album, wrong song.

Number 3 is Peter, Paul, and Mary. I think the title is “Early in the Morning.”
