Of course, the Bush administration is so busy with Iraq that they’ll never notice this new menace until we all wind up with bullet-riddled ankles.

When we published that article, everyone in my office said “Oh, no. What will Dave Barry do when he hears about this.”
I’m not sure who sent it to him. But there it was: we knew when it was published that Dave Barry would be all over it like a cannon on a cockroach.
